News Alert: The funeral for Russian opposition figure Alexey Navalny is underway

Alexey Navalny's funeral is underway in Moscow amid tight security and fears of arrests. Hundreds of mourners, who have gathered to pay their respects to the former opposition figure, clapped and chanted as his body arrived at the church.

Navalny died on February 16, after Russia's prison service said he "felt unwell after a walk." His team and family have blamed Russian President Vladimir Putin for his death.
